Inland navigation
Complete VMP
Engines without power limitations, you can even go to sea and, for fun, even ride a large sailboat.
Combination of engines, sea and sails
Engines with unlimited power, complemented by coastal sailing at sea and the ability to drive small sailboats up to 20 m² of sail area. Almost a complete inland yachtsman.
How long does the course take?
We train theory every month on the weekend. Individual dates can be arranged by phone. Theory lasts one weekend. On Saturday we will discuss the entire inland navigation, on Sunday morning we will discuss sea navigation and in the afternoon we will discuss sailing theory. Practice on a motorboat takes one afternoon and practice on a sailboat is not required for this level.
Big Engines, Seas and Big Sails
With this license you can drive any motorboat or any scooter. It is similar to the difference between a scooter and a powerful road motorcycle. Boats with large engines can be dangerous if handled incorrectly. Therefore, we will focus on traffic safety in both the theoretical and practical parts of the training. They sail on rivers, dams and seas.
Where can you sail?
Anywhere on inland waters and at sea “around the shore”. With this combination you will be able to sail at sea during the day up to a distance of 1 nautical mile from the shore, i.e. almost two kilometers. And all over the world.
Course progress
To obtain a license for unlimited engine power, you must complete theoretical and practical training. Only after completing both parts can you apply for the final theoretical exam at the Navigation Authority.
1. Theories
Theoretical training takes place regularly on Saturdays and Sundays. We deal with the legislation that applies to inland and maritime navigation. This knowledge is a basic requirement for obtaining a license of all categories.
We offer theory courses both online and in person. Courses take place every month.
2. Practice
For this level, practical training on a motorboat and a sailboat is required. The practice on a motorboat takes place at our Seawolf anchorage in Davle. The practice on a sailboat is usually done on Orlík or Slapy. The practical part takes 2,5 hours on a motorboat and about half a day on a sailboat.
3. Registration for the final exam
After completing the practical part, you can register for the final theoretical exam, which takes place at the branches of the Navigation Office in Prague, Děčín and Přerov. Registering online is very simple. You will need a digital copy of the doctor's certificate and a confirmation of completion of the practical part of the course, which you will receive by email from us. The administrative fee of CZK 500 must be paid online by credit card.
