COASTAL CRUISE AT SEA
This extension of the Small Craft Boat Operator's license allows you to sail with a motorboat or jet ski even at sea. This is the so-called "coastal sailing", i.e. sailing around the shores. It is ideal for driving around the area and visiting beaches from the other side. You take your beach with you. We recommend ordering the course in combination with large engines, i.e. VMP MC.

How long does the course take?
We train the theory every month on the weekend. Individual dates can be arranged by phone. This extension course lasts one Sunday morning. We will introduce navigation, meteorology, rules for preventing collisions at sea, learn to give way and pay a lot of attention to safety at sea. No practical training is required for this extension.
COASTAL CRUISE AT SEA
This extension of the VMP license is often confused with with another ID card, which is issued by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic and which entitles the holder to lead a sea yacht to a much greater distance. If you have the ambition to sail the seas like a real sailor, to spend your entire vacation on a yacht, take a look at the sea yachting course, which we also organize.
Where can you sail?
This card is by extension Inland navigation licenses. To obtain it, you must first be a holder of an inland navigation license. After obtaining it, you will be able to sail at sea during the day up to a distance of 1 nautical mile from the shore, i.e. almost two kilometers.
Course of the VMP course
To obtain an extension of your coastal navigation licence, you only need to complete theoretical training and pass a theoretical exam at the Navigation Authority. No practical training is required.
1. Theories
Theoretical training takes place regularly on Saturdays and Sundays. We deal with the legislation that applies to inland and maritime navigation. This knowledge is a basic requirement for obtaining a license of all categories.
We offer theory courses both online and in person. Courses take place every month.
2. Practice
No practical preparation is required for this extension.
3. Registration for the final exam
The exam is taken together with the theoretical exam for obtaining the M license. After passing the basic part of the M, a set of twenty questions from maritime navigation will follow.
The final theoretical exam is taken at the branches of the Navigation Office in Prague, Děčín and Přerov. Online registration is very simple. You will need a digital copy of the doctor's certificate. The administrative fee of CZK 500 must be paid online by credit card.
